Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova is awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Belarusian State University.

A ceremony was held at the Belarusian State University with the participation of the academic and teaching staff and the students today on the occasion of the official visit of the Speaker of the Milli Majlis to the Republic of Belarus.

BSU Rector Andrey Korol outlined the biography of the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament and announced the decision of the Academic Council to award Sahiba Gafarova the title of Honorary Professor of the Belarusian State University.

Speaker Sahiba Gafarova said she was pleased to call at the prime state university of the Republic of Belarus, such a prestigious university, the flagship of the country’s tertiary education, and thanked for the title of the BSU Honorary Professor.

Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalya Kochanova who was attending the ceremony congratulated Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
