Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has sent a letter of condolence to Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova following the tragic life-taking plane crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan.

Sardar Ayaz Sadiq expressed his deep condolences regarding the tragedy and wished a swift recovery for the injured, on behalf of the members of the National Assembly and himself.

‘In this sorrowful moment, the Parliament, Government and People of Pakistan express their solidarity with the brotherly people of Azerbaijan. We share in the grief of the families who have lost loved ones and pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. We kindly ask you to convey the condolences of the people of Pakistan,’ the letter reads.
