Expressions of condolence continue to be received by the Milli Majlis in connection with the crash of the aircraft belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines. 

Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş and Speaker of the Parliament of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ziya Öztürkler have telephoned Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova to express their deep sorrow over the tragedy and conveyed their condolences to the people of Azerbaijan and the families of those who perished in the disaster.

Letters of condolences addressed to the Speaker of the Milli Majlis have also been sent in by Speaker of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan Rustam Emomali, Speaker of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Yerlan Qoşanov, Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić, Speaker of the Joğorqu Keñeş of Kyrgyzstan Nurlanbek Shakiyev, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the Secretariat of the CIS Parliamentary Assembly Council, Secretary-General of the International Congress of Parliamentarians Senator Sitara Ayaz, Chairman of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace Ahmed Mohammed Al-Jarwan and Speaker of the Assembly (parliament) of Turkmenistan Dünýägözel Gulmanowa. They have expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims of the air disaster and declared their solidarity with our people during these difficult days.

Furthermore, condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims of the air disaster have been conveyed by Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Natalia Kochanova and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Belarus Igor Sergeenko, Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko and Speaker of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Volodin, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan of Russian Federation Zaur Askenderov, Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili and Speaker of the National Assembly of the People's Power of the Republic of Cuba Juan Esteban Lazo Hernández. They, too, have wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
