The Speaker of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Natalya Kochanova has telephoned Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.   

The Speaker of the Council expressed her deepest condolences on behalf of herself and the deputies of the Council regarding the tragic crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines Baku-Grozny passenger flight which crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan on 25 December. She extended her sympathies to the Speaker of the Milli Majlis, the friendly and brotherly people of Azerbaijan and the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in the tragedy, while also wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.

Speaker Sahiba Gafarova thanked for the considerate attention and the condolences.
