A member of the Milli Majlis and of the Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation to the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly Malahat Ibrahimghizi co-chaired the online meeting of the Assembly’s Committee on Social Affairs, Employment, Education, Culture and Civil Society held on 19 April.

The conclusion of the Committee about the report on the quality of life in the European Union and Eastern Partnership considering reliable health care systems and resilient pension reforms was heard. That was followed by the thematic debates about the social outcomes of the COVID-19 pandemic in the EU/EP Region, and about assisting the vaccination efforts in, again, the EU/EP Region.

A member of the Milli Majlis Hijran Huseynova made her comments and told the gathering of the work done in Azerbaijan to counter the coronavirus infection.

Appropriate decisions concerning the agenda items were passed at the meeting of the Committee on Social Affairs, Employment, Education, Culture and Civil Society.

Another member of the Milli Majlis delegation Gudrat Hasanguliyev took part in the committee meeting as well.
