Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova sent a letter of condolences on 21 January to Speaker of the Great National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş.

It being in connexion with the fire at the Kartalkaya Skiing Centre in the Turkish province of Bolu that took many lives, Speaker Gafarova expresses condolences to the Speaker and the Members of the GNAT as well as the deceased people’s families and friends, and the brotherly people of Türkiye, on her own behalf and on behalf of the Members of the Milli Majlis. The letter also contains the wishes that the deceased rest in peace and those injured recover soon.
