On 31st January, A voluntary blood donation campaign was held in the Milli Majlis on 31 January in support of the decrees of President Ilham Aliyev with regards to the promotion of blood donation and the transfusion services, as well as in response to the call by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva to organise voluntary blood donation campaigns in aid of patients with hereditary blood disorders and those in urgent need of surgery.

The leadership of the Milli Majlis, the MPs as well as employees of the Parliamentary Staff and Affairs Department went to the specially-allocated place, underwent appropriate tests and donated blood one by one.
