Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova has sent a congratulatory letter to Speaker of the Great National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) Numan Kurtulmuş on the occasion of his re-election as Head of the GNAT.

The Speaker of the Milli Majlis congratulated Numan Kurtulmuş on the re-election to this elevated position, on her own behalf and on behalf of the Milli Majlis Members, and conveyed the best wishes to him. The letter accentuates the gratifyingly current level of the Azerbaijani-Turkish bonds of friendship and brotherhood that are reliant upon the common national and spiritual values of our fraternal peoples. The inter-state relations are advancing dynamically and in all the areas including on the inter-parliamentary co-operation level, all in keeping with the ‘One Nation – Two States’ motto.

A telephone conversation of Speaker of Parliament Sahiba Gafarova and Numan Kurtulmuş followed on the same day.

Whilst talking on the phone, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis congratulated the Speaker of GNAT once again and wished him success in the forthcoming endeavours.

The Speaker of the Great National Assembly of Türkiye thanked for the congratulations and kind words, and declared his intention to continue sparing no effort for a continued upwardly advancement of the relations between GNAT and the Milli Majlis.
