65th Plenary Session of Parliamentary Assembly of Black Sea Economic Co-operation to Take Place in Baku

Baku will be hosting the 65th Plenary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Co-operation (PABSEC) from 17 to 19 June. The event will see participation by Heads of Parliament of several countries alongside other numerous delegates and guests.

Speaker of the Milli Majlis and PABSEC President Sahiba Gafarova will deliver an opening address at the plenary session. 

The proceedings will include meetings of the Organisation’s Bureau and Standing Committee as well as committees on economic, legal, and social affairs; various organisational matters are to be considered, too.   

Discussions will be held, themed ‘Strengthening Connectivity in the PABSEC Region and Enhancing Mobility through Development of Smart and Sustainable Transport Infrastructure’, and corresponding decisions will be adopted at the plenary session. 

Also, the Parliamentary Assembly of the BSEC presidency will be relegated from Azerbaijan to Bulgaria at the plenary session.
