Speaker of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Joins Srebrenica Victims’ Commemoration Ceremony

As part of her working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova went to the Memorial Centre established in memory of the Srebrenica victims.

The Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament and guests from other countries, including Heads of State and of Government, Speakers of Parliament and official representatives, acquainted themselves to the exhibition ‘In the Footsteps of Those Who Did Not Pass’ first in the course of the commemorative events.

Next, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova signed the book of condolences in the memorial hall.

After that, the victims’ commemoration ceremony was conducted at the Memorial Centre.

The Heads of Delegation paid tribute in memoriam the tragedy victims and put flower bouquets at the foot of the Memorial.

The Speaker of the Milli Majlis met with Leaders of Parliament of several countries and had conversations with them in the frameworks of the ceremony.
