An international parliamentary conference dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be held at the Milli Majlis on 29 October.

The topic of the conference is ‘Constitution as the Foundation of the Independence and Sovereignty of States in the Contemporary World’.

During the conference, the participants will be exchanging opinions about the roles of constitutions in strengthening the legal foundations of modern states and about also preserving states’ sovereignty and national independence.

Parliamentary delegations of up to 20 countries and delegates of 5 international organisations are expected to take part in the event.
