An Event on the 98th Anniversary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was Held at Milli Majlis
The Board of the Milli Majlis Primary Territorial Organisation No 2 for the NAP Sabayil District Unit held a meeting on 7 May that was dedicated to the 98th anniversary of the founder of the Azerbaijani State, the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.
The meeting started with a minute of silence in memoriam of the Great Leader, followed by Chairman of the Board of the Primary TO and Head of the Social Legislation Department of the Milli Majlis Staff Adil Valiyev speaking of the unprecedented services of the Great Leader to the people of Azerbaijan and then thanking Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova for having supported this event.
One of the founders of the New Azerbaijan Party and Chairman of the Disciplinary Commission of the Milli Majlis Eldar Ibrahimov made a presentation titled ‘The Independent Azerbaijan as the Triumph of Heydar Aliyev’s Life’s Work’. Mr Ibrahimov looked over the meaning-laden life path of the Great Leader and shared his recollections.
A member of the Primary TO and Head of Sector in the Milli Majlis Staff Kamala Pashayeva, in turn, gave a presentation ‘Heydar Aliyev and the Erection of a State of Law in Azerbaijan’.
The discussion of the presentations that followed was accompanied by the memories of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev from First Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis Ali Huseynli, Chief of Staff of the Milli Majlis Safa Mirzayev and MP Nizami Safarov. They also spoke of the great deeds of the Great Leader in the name of the state and people of Azerbaijan.
It was said that it was the first jubilee of Heydar Aliyev being celebrated in Azerbaijan having restored its territorial integrity, all thanks to President Ilham Aliyev’s successful continuation of the policy that the Great Leader established years back. Liberation of our lands was the chief aspiration of the National Leader; so, his spirit rests merry now.
Members of the Board of the Primary TO were taking part in the meeting as well.
