There was a telephone conversation between Chairman of the Great National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop and Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova at Mr Şentop’s initiative on 14 May. The speaker of the brotherly country’s parliament congratulated the Chair and members of the Milli Majlis on the sacred Ramadan and wished the people of Azerbaijan prosperity. The Chair of the Milli Majlis, in turn, sent her holiday greetings to the Turkish colleague, the GNAT members and the people of Turkey.

The speakers of the parliaments of the fraternal countries also discussed matters of mutual interest during the telephone call.
