The parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova have arrived in the Russian Federation on a working visit in order to take part in a Council meeting and the 60^th plenary sitting of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS).

Speaker Sahiba Gafarova was welcomed at the ‘Pulkovo 3’ Airport of the city of St Petersburg by Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations, Head of the Foreign Economic Co-operation Department of the city of St Petersburg Nizami Mamishev, Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council Dmitry Kobitsky, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Rahman Mustafayev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Milli Majlis to IPA CIS Aydin Jafarov, Azerbaijan’s acting Consul General in the city of St Petersburg Anar Yusifzade and other officials.
