A Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation will be held in Baku
The 20th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of Member States of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation will start in Baku on 22 June.
The session that will be participated by parliamentary delegations of more than 40 countries, Speakers of more than 10 countries and representatives of 10 international organisations will hold topical discussions on ‘Promoting Sustainable and Inclusive Economic Development in OIC Member States through Parliamentary Cooperation’. More than 400 delegates are expected to participate in the event.
The session will also include meetings of the General Committee, the Executive Committee, the Association of Secretaries General, the standing specialised committees on Political Affairs and International Relations, Economic Affairs and the Environment, Legal and Cultural Affairs and Dialogue of Civilisations and Religions, Human Rights, Women and Family Affairs, and other units of the Organisation. Positions will be stated regarding the documents on the agenda.
The Session will end on 25 June.
