Parliamentary Delegation led by Chair of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova Visited Nizami Ganjavi Monument in Rome
The delegation of the Azeri parliament led by Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, in Italy on an official visit currently, have gone the monument to the genius poet and thinker of Azerbaijan Nizami Ganjavi at the famous ‘Villa Borghese’ Gardens in Rome on 18 May.
It should be remembered that the monument in question was erected pursuant to the decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic ‘On Celebrating the 870th Jubilee of the Genius Poet and Thinker of Azerbaijan Nizami Ganjavi’ dated 23 December 2011. The monument was inaugurated with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in April 2012 subject to the same presidential decree.
