Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova met with the mass media people covering the Second General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Economic Co-Operation Organisation and gave the Pakistani television an interview on 1 June.

The Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament underlined the significance of the current event whilst answering the journalists’ questions. She thanked Pakistan for hosting such a tremendous session, saying also that there were considerable opportunities to be tapped within this Organisation. Sahiba Gafarova mentioned then that Azerbaijan would be the third country to host a gathering of the members of the PAECO after Pakistan and Afghanistan.
