Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova had a meeting with Chairman of the Great National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop on 2 June on the sidelines of the 2^nd General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Economic Co-operation Organisation current in Pakistan.

The interlocutors exchanged opinions about the fruitful co-operation, deepening the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties and future development vectors of the interparliamentary connexions. Besides, the parliament speakers of the two fraternal countries emphasised in accord the importance of regional co-operation.

Chairman of the GNAT Mustafa Şentop again offered his congratulations on Azerbaijan’s victory in the 44-day Patriotic War while Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, in turn, expressed gratitude to the Turkish side for its political and moral backing to Azerbaijan.

Other matters of shared interest were talked of during the conversation, too.
