Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, Chair of the Great National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop and Chair of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asad Qaiser and their respective delegations visited the Fuzuli Province on 29 July.

First, the guests went to the Fuzuli town centre, where they were told that the whole town infrastructure and residential districts had been destroyed atrociously by Armenian vandals in the time in which the locality was occupied by Armenia.

Next up, the visitors called at the newly built ‘Fuzuli’ sub-station, to be informed that the 110/35/10-kilovolt facility had been constructed in keeping with the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev to organise electricity supplies round the liberated territories as soon as practicable. Located in the vicinity of the new airport, now under construction, and the Shusha Road, the sub-station will cater for the electricity needs of the airport as well as of different-purpose buildings and the infrastructure to be built in the town of Fuzuli proper as well as in the surrounding villages.

While on the visit, the parliament speakers also checked on the progress of the construction work afoot at the Fuzuli International Airport.
