The delegation led by Chair of the Republic of Korea National Assembly Park Byeong-seug, in Azerbaijan on an official visit currently, arrived at the Alley of Honour to pay tribute to the memory of the Azerbaijani State’s creator, the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev on 19 August. They laid a wreath at his graveside.

Having gone over to the Martyrs’ Lane afterwards, the delegation of the Korean National Assembly paid their respects in memoriam of the sons of the Motherland who had sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan’s liberty and sovereignty. Flower bouquets adorned the shahids’ tombstones. A wreath was placed in front of the Eternal Flame monument.

The guests who were contemplating the cityscape presenting itself to their gazes from the highest point of the Azerbaijani capital were told the history of the Martyrs’ Lane and informed about the improvements afoot in our city.
