MP Eldar Ibrahimov was recently decorated with the ‘Thirty Years of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan’ lapel pin pursuant to the decree of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Uzbek Ambassador Bahrom Ashrafkhanov noted whilst handing Eldar Ibrahimov the award at an event at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan on 22 September that the Azerbaijani MP was thusly decorated for his substantial input in the advancement of the bilateral inter-parliamentary relations, friendship and fraternity he had made as the leader of the Working Group for the Azerbaijani-Uzbek inter-parliamentary relations and as the chairman of the ‘Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan’ Friendship Society.
