Parliamentary Delegation Led by Chair of Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova to Pay Official Visit to Slovak Republic

The parliamentary delegation to be led by Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova will pay an official visit to the capital city of the Slovak Republic Bratislava on 7 October.

Among the delegation members will be the Milli Majlis committee chairmen Sadig Gurbanov, Musa Guliyev and Zahid Oruj, the leader of the working group for inter-parliamentary connexions with Slovakia Anar Mammadov, MP Sadagat Valiyeva and Chief of the Milli Majlis Staff Safa Mirzayev.

The Chair of the Milli Majlis is to have talks with Slovakia’s Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Council and Minister of Foreign Affairs about deepening bilateral and multilateral co-operation, the current and future state of the inter-parliamentary relations, exchange of law-making experience and information and other topics.

Members of our delegation will be introduced to the workings of the Slovak legislature; they will also exchange thoughts about deepening the mutual relations with members of the group for inter-parliamentary connexions with Azerbaijan.

The visit will be over on 9 October.
