External Relations Committees of Azerbaijani, Turkish, Georgian Parliaments to Hold a Trilateral Meeting

A group of the Milli Majlis deputies are leaving for the Turkish capital of Ankara on 17 October to take part in the trilateral meeting of the external relations committees of the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia.

The delegation consists of Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee for International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Samad Seyidov and the MPs Sevinj Fataliyeva, Tural Ganjaliyev and Sahib Aliyev.

At their joint meeting, the three committees will be discussing expanding regional and inter-parliamentary co-operation, exchange of legislative information and experience, developing the political, economic, humanitarian and cultural connexions amongst their countries and other matters. The trilateral will be capped with a press conference.

While in Turkey, our delegation will also join the events arranged to honour the thirtieth anniversary of the Azerbaijan Republic’s newfound independence and the 800th jubilee of the Azerbaijani poet and thinker Nizami Ganjavi.

Our MPs’ visit to Turkey will be over on 20 October.
