Feyruz Hajily who was killed in action at the 44 days’ Patriotic War was remembered at the ceremony in Baku’s Yasamal District with the participation of the Milli Majlis members Ulvi Guliyev and Sabina Khasayeva, the Head of the district administration Elshad Hasanov together with his officials, seniors of the local organisations, the shahid’s combat comrades and members of the public on 18 October.

The ceremony participants went to the shahid’s grave in the Martyrs’ Lane II in the Yasamal District and said prayers for his soul. Flowers were put at the graveside. The path of combat of the valiant soldier was talked about.

It was said that Feyruz Hajily had been decorated with the medals ‘For the Motherland’, ‘For the Liberation of Jabrayil’ and ‘For the Liberation of Fuzuli’ in recognition of his heroism at the Patriotic War.

The fallen warrior’s friends and family reminisced about him and thanked the Administration of the country for its care and attention to the shahid families and the gazies.
