One year since the death of Eldar Firudin oglu Abdullayev, one of our heroic sons who laid their lives down for their country in the 44 days’ Patriotic War, was marked in the town of Sumgait.

The parliamentary committee chair Hijran Huseynova, the shahid’s relatives, other shahids’ mothers and members of the public took part in the one year’s wake. MP Huseynova talked to the shahid’s relatives and friends and shared in their grief.

It will be noted that the shahid Eldar Firudin oglu Abdullayev was decorated with the medals ‘For the Motherland’ and ‘For the Liberation of Khojavend’ subject to various decrees of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic in recognition of his combat service and meritorious discharge of military duties in the discharge of his detachment’s missions.
