The commemoration of the shahid Major Ramid Nariman oglu Hajiyev, originally from the village of Mirek in the Jabrayil Province, went in Baku with the attendance of MP Jeyhun Mammadov, First Deputy Head of the Jabrayil Provincial Executive Authority Arif Farzaliyev, members of the public, the shahid’s relations and companions in arms.

The ceremony participants visited Ramid Hajiyev’s graveside in the Alley of Honour II and adorned it with flower bunches. They talked about the glorious tour of duty of our shahid who had sacrificed his life for the wholeness of his country’s territory and paid tribute to his memory.

It was mentioned that Major Ramid Hajiyev had been decorated with the Garabagh Order and the medal ‘For the Motherland’ in recognition of his special merits in the restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and exceptional heroism.
