A wake organised by the officials of the Caucasus Muslim Department for the Guba Province in the town of Guba was attended by shahid families’ members, gazies, MP Vahid Ahmadov, the Head of the Guba Provincial Administration Ziyaddin Aliyev and members of the provincial public.

Speaking at the wake, MP Ahmadov asked the Almighty would rest the shahids’ souls merry and the gazies would recover soon. The lawmaker talked about the gallantry and courage of the Guba residents who had fought in the 44 days’ Patriotic War – the heroes who had had their names written in the pages of our glory and had brought the joy of victory to our nation. He also spoke of the work done about the shahid families and gazies of Guba just like it is done all over the republic.
