Annual Wake of Beyuk Bahmanli Village Shahid Shamil Aliyev in Fuzuli Province

MP Vugar Bayramov took part in the year’s wake of the local dweller Shamil Khanchoban oglu Aliyev who had fallen as a shahid of the Patriotic War.

Those speaking at the wake that took place in the fallen hero’s native village of Beyuk Bahmanli in the Fizuli Province referred to Aliyev’s courage and gallantry shown in the heavy fighting , and about the liberation of our lands after the thirty years of occupation. The people of Azerbaijan had launched a counteroffensive following the military provocations of the enemy on 27 September had then been able to reclaim the whole national territory of their country thanks to the brave sons like Shamil Aliyev, the participants said. The Azerbaijan Army’s victory and defeat of the enemy demonstrated the power of our state to the whole world.

MP Bayramov offered his deepest condolences to the family of the shahid who is decorated with the medals ‘For the Motherland’ and ‘For the Liberation of the Fizuli’ posthumously. The lawmaker also took an interest in the cares and concerns of Aliyev’s family.

Such sons of the nation as Shamil Aliyev who had risen to the height of being a shahid would live in the Azerbaijani hearts eternally, MP Bayramov pointed out.
