Azerbaijan Taking Over Co-ordination in CIS Youth Inter-Parliamentary Assembly

The Milli Majlis members Emin Hajiyev and Konul Nurullayeva will be in St Petersburg, Russian Federation on 20-23 October for the 17th session of the CIS Youth Inter-Parliamentary Assembly and the events included in its programme.

The agenda of the 17th session of the CIS YIPA, scheduled to take place on 21 October, contains the 2020 performance account of the organisation and the following thematic panels: ‘Youth Tourism in the CIS Member States: the Current Situation and the Main Development Areas’, ‘The CIS Youth and the Sustainable Development Goals’ and ‘The Run-Up to the CIS Youth Inter-Parliamentary Forum’.

The session that is set to be moderated by the leader of the Milli Majlis delegation to the CIS YIPA Emin Hajiyev will see Azerbaijan take over the co-ordination of the entity on rota. MP Konul Nurullayeva will speak on the above-mentioned subject of ‘Youth Tourism in the CIS Member States: the Current Situation and the Main Development Areas’.

The conference ‘The Face of a Modern City’ will start with the introductory speech of the leader of the Milli Majlis delegation to the CIS YIPA Emin Hajiyev on 22 October; it is dedicated to the declaration of 2021 the CIS Year of Architecture and City-Planning. The conference will generate recommendations for the CIS IPA as well as the member states’ national legislatures and administrations.
