Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova met with President of the Parliament of Montenegro Aleksa Bečić in the course of her working visit to Greece.

The leaders of the two legislatures were discussing the continued promotion of the bilateral relations in diverse areas, the special role of high-level visits in furthering our political connexions and the significance of both parliaments in the growth of the ties between Azerbaijan and Montenegro. Mrs Gafarova and Mr Bečić highlighted the especial import of the work done by the bilateral friendship groups and agreed that reciprocal visits and an exchange of both opinions and experience were central to strengthening the inter-parliamentary co-operation further. It was said then that there were ample opportunities to expand the Azerbaijani-Montenegrin interaction in the economic, humanitarian, cultural, tourism and other areas.

Besides, the meeting saw a discourse concerning other matters of shared interest.
