Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis, chairman of the parliament’s Youth and Sports Committee Adil Aliyev took part in the one-year wake of the Patriotic War shahid Ali Abbas oglu Mammadov in the village of Makhta in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic’s Sharur Province.

Our Glorious Army de-occupied the Azerbaijani lands and won a historic victory under the command of the president of the country, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev – and that historic triumph was achieved at the cost of the lives and blood of the heroes like Ali Mammadov and his companions in arms. Armenia had occupied our territories for thirty years and had not desisted from its invading policy for all the negotiations and efforts until, at last, the courage of our heroic sons let us make the territory of our country whole again and, in this way, justice triumphed, Adil Aliyev was saying.

We cherish the memory of each shahid and we bow to their sacred spirits; the shahid families and the gazies are always in the focus of the Administration of the country and are embraced with its care, according to Adil Aliyev.
