The one-year’s wake of the shahid warrant officer of the Patriotic War Ariz Farzulla oglu Maharramov held in the Saatli Province was attended by MP Aziz Alakbarov, the Saatli Provincial Administration Head Elmir Baghirov, the shahid’s family, gazies and members of the public.

Ariz Maharramov was killed in action whilst fighting for the settlement of Sugovushan on 20 October and is interred in the village of Gara Nuru in the Saatli Province. He is decorated with the ‘For the Motherland’ medal to the decree of President Ilham Aliyev for the combat record and the meritorious discharge of the operative missions set before his detachment during the battles for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

The participants of the wake visited Ariz Maharramov’s grave. His family thanked the country Administration for the care taken about them.
