Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis Adil Aliyev took part in the commemoration of the First Garabagh War shahid Namig Malikov and the Patriotic War shahids Teymur Hasanov and Agshin Novruzov in the Nasimi District of Baku on 26 October.

Along also came the head of the Nasimi District executive authority Asif Asgarov, community representatives and members of the shahid families. They all paid tribute to the memory of the warriors who had fought for their country to the last drop of their lifeblood and fallen like heroes. They prayed also that the Almighty would rest their souls merry.

Deputy Speaker was saying that Namig Malikov and his brothers-in-arms killed in action at the First Garabagh War set a fine example for our youth whilst the brave ones like Teymur Hasanov and Agshin Novruzov, and their companions in combat, too, had given up the sweetest thing they had – their lives – at the Patriotic War.

Mr Aliyev emphasised that the historical lands of Azerbaijan were now free of the invaders and returned to their true owners thanks to the bravery of our heroes and the military as well the diplomatic resolve of the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
