MP Mashhur Mammadov and the Head of the Masalli Provincial Administration Shahin Mammadov took part in the commemoration day proceedings held in the village of Chakhirli in that province for the 44-day Patriotic War shahid Agamali Shamil oglu Agayev alongside the shahid’s relatives, other shahids’ families and members of the public.

A drinking fountain built in memory of Agamali Agayev was inaugurated in the village street named after the fallen hero. The event was continued at the shahid’s home where they said prayers for his soul and his father Shamil was presented with the book entitled ‘The Shahidism Manifesto’ and put together at the instance of Mashhur Mammadov.

It is worth mentioning that the shahid Agamali Agayev is decorated posthumously with the medals ‘For the Motherland’, ‘For Liberation of Jabrayil’ and ‘For Liberation of Gubadli’ to the relevant decrees of President Ilham Aliyev in appreciation of his courage and valour in the battles for the territorial integrity of the Azerbaijan Republic as well as of the meritorious discharge of combat duties that had been set before the detachment in which he had served.

The shahid’s father spoke to say his thanks for the care and attention given to himself and his father’s memory.
