Vito Petrocelli sends Head of Azerbaijan-Italy Inter-Parliamentary Connexions Working Group Azer Karimli a V-Day Congratulatory Letter

Chairman of the Italian Senate’s commission for foreign affairs and emigration Vito Petrocelli has sent the leader of the Azerbaijan-Italy inter-parliamentary relations working group Azer Karimli a letter of congratulations on the Victory Day.  

Vito Petrocelli sends his best wishes in connexion with the anniversary of the restoration of the Azerbaijan Republic’s territorial integrity, points out that the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict has remained in the past and underlines the importance of maintaining fair and lasting peace in keeping with the 1993 resolutions of the UN Security Council.

The letter conveys the certainty that the Government and Parliament of the Azerbaijan Republic will make the best of their exceptional capabilities in the name of multilateral co-operation, stability, prosperity and security of the Central Caucasus and the neighbouring regions. Besides, Mr Petrocelli writes that the Italian-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary relations will always be setting high standards.
