The Patriotic War shahids originating from the local villages of Azadkend, Darkend and Duylu Senior Lieutenant Namig Hasan oglu Khalilli, Lieutenant Intigam Allahverdi oglu Abdullayev, Lieutenant Metin Ramiz oglu Huseynov and Private of Extended Service Saday Rza oglu Mammadaliyev were commemorated in the Ordubad Province.

MP Jabil Guliyev, the Head of the Ordubad Administration Elshad Mammadov, the shahids’ families and friends and members of the public took part in the wakes.

They visited the fallen warriors’ gravesides and adorned them with flowers, paid tribute to their memories and said prayers for their souls. Besides, they called on the shahids’ families and enquired after their issues and concerns.
