Member of the Supreme Rada of Ukraine for the parliamentary fraction ‘Servant of the People’ Ludmila Marchenko expresses her respects and conveys her congratulations to Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova and the whole people of Azerbaijan on the Victory Day.

This great victory came to  fruition through the tireless labours of the leadership of the country and the unity of the Azerbaijani people; Azerbaijan’s having liberated Garabagh and the provinces around it from the occupation gladdens the brotherly people of Ukraine very much, too, goes the congratulatory letter from Mrs Marchenko.

Reiterating her sharing in the joy of the Azerbaijani nation of the victory in the Patriotic War for Garabagh and the Victory jubilation, the member of the Supreme Rada emphasises that the historically tremendous victory of Azerbaijan sets an example for the world, that the leadership of Ukraine has supported the territorial integrity of our country at all times and on the principle and, last but not least, that this support is as robust today as it has ever been before. Mrs Marchenko further expresses her confidence that the lands freed from the Armenian occupation will be restored soon enough.

In addition, the Ukrainian MP states her satisfaction with the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani friendship, the growing potential of bipartite co-operation in various areas and the strategic partnership of our countries.

Ludmila Marchenko wishes the leader of the Azerbaijani parliament Sahiba Gafarova good health and successes in her work, and the people of Azerbaijan peace, tranquillity and prosperity.
