Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Co-operation Asaf Hajiyev conveys his felicitations on the Victory Day of 8 November in his letter addressed to Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.

The letter mentions the glorious victory won in the Garabagh War II and, as a result, the restoration of the territorial integrity of our country. Mr Hajiyev writes that the victory was possible as an outcome of the resolute struggle of President Ilham Aliyev of the Azerbaijan Republic spanning many years as well as of successful diplomatic endeavours and army building.

Mr Hajiyev also refers to the current accelerated restoration and rebuilding work afoot in the Garabagh Province, emphasising the significance of the prompt construction and launch of the Fuzuli Airport. All that creation work that goes on guided by the president of the country goes to show that Garabagh, an inseparable part of Azerbaijan, is turning into one of the most beautiful corners of the world as well as the moral and cultural centre of our country, in the opinion of the PABSEC Secretary General.

Asaf Hajiyev also points out the immediate involvement of the Azerbaijani parliament led by its speaker Sahiba Gafarova in those processes and, in general, the legislature’s contribution to the progress of our State; he sends his best wishes to Chair Gafarova and the members of the Milli Majlis.
