Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis, chairman of the parliamentary Youth and Sports Committee Adil Aliyev together with the MPs Vugar Bayramov and Shahin Ismayilov visited the monument of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in the Fuzuli Province and adorned it with fresh flowers on 19 October.

Then, Adil Aliyev and Vugar Bayramov called on the shahid families of the provinces and attended the shahid commemoration service. There, Adil Aliyev talked about our adamant Army led by the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev having brought us the historic victory by clearing the lands of Azerbaijan of the invaders. The thirty years’ occupation was discontinued precisely thanks to the courage of our heroes, Mr Aliyev pointed out.

It was mentioned that the Head of State and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva laid the foundations of several infrastructural facilities of the town as they visited Fuzuli on occasion of the first anniversary of its liberation from the enemy a few days back. Adil Aliyev mentioned the already-laid foundation of the Digital Stations Control Centre in Fuzuli – for the first time ever in the province. He also mentioned the plans to build a 17.8-ha residential estate in the province.

MP Vugar Bayramov remarked that our country had carried out within merely 44 days the four resolutions of the UN Security Council that had remained ignored for as long as thirty years. That was a historic achievement, stressed the MP before saying that our shahids had sacrificed the sweetest things they had, their lives, that is, for the sake of our momentous victory. Thus, through their courage and self-sacrifice, they had added the most brilliant page to the glorious history of Azerbaijan, MP Bayramov added.
