Abdul Raheem Al-Maaia, Chairman of the Friendship Group for the countries of Asia and Oceania in the House of Representatives of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, has sent a congratulatory letter to the Leader of the Working Group of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic on occasion of the Victory Day on 8 November.

We have it from the Embassy of Jordan in Baku that Mr Al-Maaia congratulates the people of Azerbaijan on the termination of the thirty-year-long conflict with Armenia and the restoration of peace in our region. In his letter, he also witnessed his country’s support for the resolutions of the UN Security Council concerned with the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Wishing the friendly Azerbaijan development and prosperity, the member of the Jordanian House of Representatives also emphasised in his message the necessity of peace, stability and integration in the South Caucasus.
