The 44-day Patriotic War shahid Farid Zakir oglu Movsumov was remembered in the Gioychay Province.

MP Mazahir Efendiyev visited the fallen hero’s graveside in the local Martyrs’ Lane where prayers were said for the shahids’ souls. Flowers were put at Farid’s gravestone. The combat path of the brave soldier was talked of.

It was said that Farid Movsumov had been decorated with the medals ‘For the Motherland’ and ‘For Liberation of Fuzuli’ in consideration of his heroism at the Patriotic War.

The shahids’ family and friends shared their memories of him and thanked the Administration of the country for its care of shahid families and gazies.
