As reported earlier, the parliamentary delegation of Azerbaijan led by Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova took part in the 16^th conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation.

The conference, themed ‘Sharing, Conscience and the Islam: Palestine, Migration and Afghanistan’, was hosted by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

The proceedings included the meetings of the PUIC General Committee as well as of the standing specialised committees for on Political and Foreign Relations, on Economic Affairs and Environment, on Human Rights, Women and Family Affairs, and on Cultural and Legal Affairs and Dialogue of Civilisations and Religions. Our delegation’s MP Jeyhun Mammadov and Safa Mirzayev, Head of the Milli Majlis Staff, took part in those meetings.  

They formulated their opinions about the documents added to the agenda and addressed organisational matters as well.
