A commemoration ceremony took place at the statue of the architect and creator of the Azerbaijani statehood, the national leader Heydar Aliyev that graces the foyer of the Milli Majlis office buildings on 12 December.

Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, First Deputy Chair Ali Huseynli and Deputy Chair Adil Aliyev put a wreath at the monument and paid their respects to the memory of the National Leader.

Then, the parliamentary committee chairs, Head of the Milli Majlis Staff Safa Mirzayev as well as the Chief of Administration/Deputy Chief of the Milli Majlis Staff adorned the monument’s pedestal with roses and commemorated the Great Leader
