A Meeting at Milli Majlis

The leader of the Milli Majlis Working Group for the inter-parliamentary connexions Azerbaijan-Malaysia Vugar Bayramov had a virtual meeting with Malaysia’s ambassador to Azerbaijan Dato Yubazlan bin Yusof on 14 December.

After the exchange of greetings, MP Bayramov praised the work done by Mr Ambassador, broached the subject of the on-going co-operation between Azerbaijan and Malaysia and informed Dato Yubazlan bin Yusof of the large-scale restoration and rebuilding work under way in the de-occupied lands of Azerbaijan. Mr Bayramov also mentioned the importance of mutual investments.

Underlining the multi-faceted nature of the Azerbaijani-Malaysian relationship, the Azerbaijani MP outlined the opportunities to further the bilateral co-operation.

Ambassador Dato Yubazlan bin Yusof witnessed his country’s interest in promoting the relations with Azerbaijan before underlining the necessity of fostering the growth of the economic, trading, tourism, humanitarian and academic connexions.

The importance of exchanging visits was stressed during the videoconference, too. Then, they were talking about development of the bilateral inter-parliamentary ties and other topics of mutual interest.
