One more heroic son of the nation, the 44-day Patriotic War shahid Isabala Jeyhun oglu Huseynov has been commemorated in the Surakhani District of Baku.

The ceremony went with the participation of MP Etibar Aliyev, Head of the Surakhani Administration Aziz Azizov, the chiefs of the Surakhani law enforcement authorities and the district branch of the NAP as well as shahid families, the shahid’s family and friends, gazies and families of other shahids.

The Surakhani Administration organised a visit to the shahid’s graveside that was adorned with flower bunches. The assembled paid their respects to his memory.

Etibar Aliyev and Aziz Azizov said at the gathering that the name of the shahid was sacred and that the summit of the Shahidism is the most glorious one. The memories of those who rose to it will live in the people’s hearts forever. The Motherland lives for as long as there are those who are ready to lay down their lives for it, the speakers pointed out.

The ceremony participants prayed that the Almighty would rest the souls of all our shahids merry and give our gazies good health.

Then, the pupils of the secondary school No 318 where Isabala Huseynov had studied sang songs and read verses about patriotism.

Isabala Huseynov is posthumously decorated with the medals ‘For the Motherland’, ‘For Liberation of Jabrayil’, ‘For Liberation of Gubadli’, ‘For Liberation of Lachin’, ‘The Valiant Warrior’ and ‘For Military Merit’ to the relevant decrees of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic in recognition of his meritorious discharge of the duties that had been set the detachment in his he had served.
