The shahid Elbrus Lachin oglu Huseynov was commemorated by MP Nurlan Hasanov, the head of the provincial executive administration Rashad Taghiyev, shahid families, gazies and members of the local public in the village of Chaparli of Shamkir Province.

They visited the graveside of Elbrus Huseynov in Chaparli, said prayers for his soul and paid respects to his memory.

It should be mentioned that the shahid Elbrus Huseynov is decorated with the medals ‘For the Motherland’ and ‘For Liberation of Kalbajar’ posthumously to the relevant decrees of the President of Azerbaijan in recognition of his engagement in the combat for restoration of the territorial integrity of the Azerbaijan Republic and the meritorious discharge of the duties that the detachment in which he had served had been commissioned to discharge.
