Deputy Chair of the Milli Majlis Family, Women’s and Children’s Affairs Committee, MP Jala Aliyeva called on the shahid families, gazies and war veterans of the Ujar and Zardab provinces on occasion of the World Azerbaijanis’ Solidarity Day and the approaching New Year.

MP Aliyeva spoke at the event about the victory of the courageous Azerbaijani Army led by the triumphant Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev in the 44 days’ Patriotic War. The shahid families and the gazies alike are in the focus of both President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva invariably. Our state holds the shahids’ memory in high esteem and is taking fundamental steps to address their families’ issues. Today, MP Aliyeva pointed out, we can once again eyewitness the inviolability of the bond between the state and the people.

The veneration of the shahids’ memory and supporting their families as well as the gazies add up to the civilian duty of each of us, in the opinion of MP Aliyeva. Our people will never forget the Patriotic War’s fallen; their families and the gazies will forever be honoured as they deserve.

MP Aliyeva thanked the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society and its head MP Novruzali Aslanov for their help in arranging those visits to the Ujar and Zardab provinces.

The shahid family members and the gazies who spoke during the event extended their gratitude to the Head of State Ilham Aliyev and First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva for the care being taken of those people.
