The commemoration day of the 44-day Patriotic War shahid, the nation’s heroic son Emin Tahir oglu Ismayilov (from the Jabrayil Province originally) went in the Martyrs’ Lane II in Baku’s Yasamal District with the attendance of MP Jeyhun Mammadov, senior officials of the Jabrayil provincial executive authority, employees of the provincial administration and organisations, the shahids’ relatives and combat comrades, gazies, other shahids’ mothers and members of the provincial public.

They went to the fallen hero’s grave in the Alley, said prayers for his soul and adorned his tombstone with flowers. His fellows talked about his path of combat. It was said that Emin Ismayilov had died a hero’s death in the engagements in the Kalbajar Province on 6 October 2020.

Incidentally, the fallen soldier is decorated, posthumously, with the medals ‘For the Motherland’, ‘Valiant Warrior’ and ‘For Liberation of Sugovushan’ to the decrees of the president of the Azerbaijan Republic in recognition of his merits and professionalism in discharging combat missions as well as for his courage and gallantry in the battles fought to drive the invaders away from our soil.
