MP Kamila Aliyeva took part in the event in Zagatala honouring the Victory Day on the 8^th of November and the first anniversary of the triumphant conclusion of the Patriotic War.

First, the participants of the event went to the Martyrs’ Lane memorial complex of the province to remember the warriors fallen at the 44 days’ war. Then, there was a march to the Victory Complex monument that was adorned with flowers. Next, a tree-planting campaign went in the province.

Officials of the provincial administration, the local public and members of shahid families took part in the proceedings.

The MPs Kamila Aliyeva and Nasib Mahamaliyev joined the V-Day arrangements in Balakyan.

The event participants went to the monument of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and put flowers at it. After that, they moved to the local Martyrs’ Lane to pay respects to the fallen heroes who sleep there.

That was followed by the opening of a drinking fountain in memoriam the shahids in the village of Katekh. The courage they had demonstrated on the battlefield was talked of.

A tree-planting action in honour of the Victory Day took place in that province as well.

Kamila Aliyeva and Nasib Mahamaliyev as well as the head of the Balakyan executive authority Islam Rzayev touched on the historic significance of the Azerbaijani lands’ deliverance from the occupation within the 44 days of the war in their speeches.
