MP Jala Ahmadova, the head of the Salyan Provincial Administration Sevindik Khatamov and members of the local public took part in the wake of the Patriotic War shahid Joshgun Ahmad oglu Safarov in Salyan.

The MP enquired after the cares and concerns of the shahid families, stressed the unfailing state care taken of them and prayed that the Almighty would rest merry the soul of the warrior fallen in the intense battles for de-occupation of Jabrayil, Khojavend, Fuzuli and Shusha. She also wished his family endurance.

Joshgun Safarov is decorated with the medals ‘For the Motherland’, ‘For Liberation of Jabrayil’, ‘For Liberation of Khojavend’, ‘For Liberation of Fuzuli’ and ‘For Liberation of Shusha’ posthumously to the decrees of Azerbaijan’s President, Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
